An article in the Science section of the Cambridge Independent on 20th February shared the details of the latest research published by the Casanueva group at the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ. Their research uses tiny nematode worms called Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans for short) to study ageing and lifespan variation. The article describes how international research led by the Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµ has developed the best model of metabolic flux in C. elegans, and used it to understand more about the link between ageing and metabolism.
